Recording
Audio Recording - €100 + VAT per hour.
Video & Audio - €250 + VAT per hour.
Please note there is an additional fee if you require an engineer to be with you during your recording.
The Audio Recording rate includes use of the studio space, professional microphones and audio recording equipment, with your session recorded as high-quality audio files.
If you wish to record video during your session — including using your own camera, phone, tripod, videographer or any other video equipment — the booking must be made under our Video Podcast / Video Studio Hire rate.
This is because the studio is being used as a visual recording space, regardless of whether GK Media Studios equipment or client-supplied equipment is used.
Audio-only bookings do not permit client-supplied video recording equipment unless agreed in advance as part of a video studio hire package.
Editing
Audio Edit - €450 + VAT per episode (up to 60min)
Audio & Video Edit - €600 + VAT per episode (up to 60min)
VAT is charged at 23%.

We typically operate 10am-5pm Monday - Friday, but are happy to be flexible with your schedule and start earlier/stay later any day of the week.

Yes. Please note there is an additional cost to have an audio engineer in studio with you while you are recording. If you wish to have this additional support, please let us know in advance.

We use Shure SM7B Microphones. We have 3 in our studio. It is known to be perfect for professional podcasters.

The room is 8ft x 6ft. It has been fitted with an acoustic carpet, acoustic glass exterior window (angled at 30 degrees), wall panels and overhead angled foam walls. This makes the room have a nice, warm and natural sound.

Yes. We offer both audio and video editing of your recording at an additional rate - whether it is for podcasts or voiceovers. Get in touch to let us know your specific needs.

Yes. We often have creative/technical team members of our clients join online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, to help monitor the recording virtually if needed.
